and then i was bored
these are the things that bind us,
together,
forever,
and these little things define us.
forever,
forever.
bastille+fall=eternal happiness.

i'm trying to find balance between being a horder and being a minimalist, while knowing that they are complete opposites. -kickthepj
there is nothing on earth that makes me happier than seeing everything at once.
you know what I mean; when all of the sudden the panorama around you is huge and you realize how miraculous it is that you are right here, right now.
one of my favorite bloggers, gretchen rubin, says that there are two types of people in the world; those who are drawn to simplicity and those who are drawn to abundance.
I always thought I was of the later sort. my room is stuffed to the brim with things. things that I want to turn into something else, that I want to blend together.
but, i suppose, what I am really drawn to is seeing an abundance unite and become simple.

Mail Art
I love the post.
I love stepping outside and running across my lawn to my mailbox and finding something there, something just for me; something that someone's worked hard on.
I love sitting in my room late at night looking through my paper collection, deciding on what this next envelope will be made of.
I love the smell of the ink and the paper to the backdrop of birdcall, writing my letter on the porch in the early hours of the morning.
Most of all, I love penpals, and the current 2 I have aren't enough. If you want to be my penpal, email me at ninakrupen@yahoo.com

throwing caution to the wind
This summer, I've only looked outside the window a few times, to say nothing of venturing out of doors.
At first, I justified it with the heat.
Then how busy I was.
Time ticked on, and July came.
Today it stormed. The rain poured in avalanches of sort, gallons and gallons. I cautiously stepped outside. The weather suddenly made me want to dance and take black and white photographs and go on pinterest and do all of the things that I never do on account of their clicheness.
Why are we so scared of not being entirely original?
Today, I decided not to care.
One day, not paying attention to what's cliche and what's overdone.
One day.
Let's try to make this happen. One day of cliche-mania.
Will you celebrate with me?

sometimes photos aren't enough
Sometimes, I can only catch a glimpse of a moment by looking at it's reflections, and the words don't come, because I'm not there anymore.
And try as I might, the details are lost.
The photos are only a guide.
These are my Summer pictures from the barn. You can find Sierra's here.
